Lord;
You have called people to come and learn of your ways.  Give them the courage to come and learn your ways.
Amen

The RCIA is the process by which men and women become members of the Catholic Church.  Since faith is an ongoing process, people begin whenever the Spirit moves them to inquire.
The RCIA takes place within the context of the parish community, and after a suitable period of formation, it culminates in the reception of the Sacraments of Initiation.
Formation includes:
Scripture
The stories of God's people
Teaching
Catholic Beliefs
Prayer
Communication with God
Liturgy
How the community worships
Mission
Living our faith

The Call
God calls and we respond.  With the process of Christian Initiation, men and women at all stages of the faith journey come together in a non-threatening and no-pressure atmosphere to learn more about the Catholic Church.
